Overall product dimensions. Width is measured at the widest lower headboard section and includes the 500 mm bedside-unit zone on each side. Headboard height is 1425 mm for all sizes, including the 75 mm top rail.

Materials & Construction

Chosen for character. Built for strength. We carefully select substantial, luxuriously thick-cut solid pine for its structural strength, stability and naturally expressive grain. Each piece is carefully prepared and hand-finished using premium oils and waxes, chosen to enrich the timber’s natural character and create the depth, warmth and grain definition behind our oak- and walnut-inspired finishes.

Our aim is simple: to make beautifully substantial, design-led furniture attainable. By choosing the right structural timber and investing in generous sections, careful preparation and exceptional finishing, we can deliver the rich character and visual depth associated with premium hardwood furniture at a more accessible price.

Robust metal fixings and hardware are selected for strength and longevity. All specialist fixings and components required for assembly are supplied with your bed.

Materials note: Finish names such as Oak and Walnut describe the colour, tone and character of the hand-applied finish; they do not indicate that the underlying timber species is oak or walnut. Natural grain, knots and tonal variation are part of the character of real timber and make every piece individual.

A headboard with a place for the things you keep close

Gallery is centred around its deep framed headboard and integrated shelf, turning the space behind the bed into part of the furniture itself. The horizontal timber keeps the design calm while the recessed ledge gives books, objects and lighting a natural place to sit.

The warm concealed light emphasises the depth of the frame and creates a softer evening atmosphere. It is a practical detail treated as architecture — useful without compromising the strong, uncluttered character of the bed.

Natural by design

Every piece of timber is individual. Grain, tone, knots, small checks and character marks are part of the material rather than defects. We carefully select and dry our timber, but small amounts of seasonal movement or minor warping can still occur.

Natural oils and waxes can produce subtle colour variation from the images shown, and screens display colour differently. No two Oak & Alba beds will be identical.

Handmade tolerances apply. Timber may expand and contract with changes in humidity and temperature. Existing floors and walls can also affect final fitting tolerances. Product imagery is representative and bedding, room styling and accessories are not included unless stated.
